Welcome to The handweaver's atelier  term and conditions.
This is everything I could think of but, mainly, please be aware that I am a one person studio. I make, pack and send everything myself. There will be times when I might be slower than I would like to be, at these times please bear with me, your patience will be greatly appreciated.

 

Frequently asked questions

When will my order arrive?

All orders will be wrapped and posted within three working days. In case of any delays I will contact you as soon as possible.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail, and will usually arrive 1-2 days of being posted. Orders over £75 will be sent tracked, and will receive a tracking code via email.

Please only email if you haven’t received your order within 28 days, as that’s when I can start applying for compensation with the Royal Mail.

Can I order a commission?

I do not take any commissions as the yarn I use is not always available and sometimes just one offs!

When will new new stock arrive?

Please check the website on a regular basis, as once an item is sold it is very unlikely that it will be repeated. New fresh stock is regularly updated on front page.

Do you send internationally?

I do. Please, get in touch to finalise the tariff to send your order to your country. Thank you.

Terms and conditions

Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the purchase of hand-woven goods from The handweaver's atelier. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Products

All products are handmade, hand-woven items. Due to the artisanal nature of the goods:

  • Slight variations in color, size, weave, and texture may occur in an item.

  • These variations are not considered defects.

I strive to accurately display product colors, but I cannot guarantee your device will reflect exact colors.

3. Pricing

  • All prices are listed in British pounds.

  • Prices may change without notice.

4. Orders

  • Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • I  reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

  • You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed.

5. Payment

I accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • Apple Pay

Payment must be completed before order processing begins.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Processing time: up to 3 business days

  • Delivery time: Depends on location and shipping method.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

  • I am not responsible for delays caused by carriers.

7. Returns 

Before purchasing please review:

  • The full product description, measurements, and photos carefully to ensure the item meets your wishes.

  • Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings and lighting.
  • If you have any questions about the product, please get in touch before ordering and I will be happy to help.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, product descriptions, images, and website content are the property of The handweaver's atelier.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Use the designs for commercial purposes without permission

    10. Care Instructions

    Hand-woven goods require proper care. I provide care instructions in the After Care page to help you look after your purchase. I am not responsible for damage caused by improper care. 

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law:

    • I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

    • My  total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

    12. Changes to Terms

    I may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
