The Hawes Throw-handwoven using natural wool
A cosy handwoven wool throw inspired by Scandinavian and Alpine textiles—what I like to call Scandalpine.
Woven using predominantly handspun yarn (95%), the patterned weft blends Wensleydale, Teeswater and Shetland wool, all left undyed to highlight the natural tones of the fleece.
The interplay of these fibres creates a soft, richly textured surface with depth and subtle contrast, while the handspun yarn lends a gentle irregularity that makes each piece unique.
The result is a warm yet breathable throw with a comforting weight and elegant drape—perfect for wrapping up on colder evenings or adding a quiet, mountain-cabin warmth to your home.
